Setting The Table

I’m hoping to bring more to the table than just my artwork!

I am setting the table for a hunger-free America. Over 40-million people are served each year through the Feeding America nationwide network of food banks, and I want to help. Donations have dropped drastically over the past month, so I am donating 10% of each sold painting in my upcoming collection, The Dinner Party Series, to Feeding America. I am striving to raise a minimum of $1,000 through this series release as well as through additional public donations. I have started this fundraiser to allow children, families, and seniors to sit down at the table and share a meal with one another.

One statistic that struck me was 1 in 7 children do not have access to nutritious food, millions of which rely on free or reduced-priced lunches and are no longer receiving them due to COVID-19. Every one dollar can provide at least 10 meals to families in need through the Feeding America network food banks. If we can meet the $1,000 goal, then that means we will have provided over 10,000 meals!

If finances are tough (as I know they are for many ), you can donate your time, which is just as impactful (51% of all food programs rely on volunteers!). You can learn more about local volunteer opportunities in your area here. If you plan to purchase a painting (thank you in advance!), I’ll be be donating the proceeds at the end of the launch and will post a receipt of the final total on my Instagram stories and on this page.
