I originally had a completely different blog post written up for Easter; however, COVID-19 has greatly impacted this season. While we are all self-quarantining, I wanted to put together a quick list of creative ways to entertain during this upcoming Easter weekend (and afterwards!). Just Hop to It & have an egg-cellent Easter!
Plant a Garden:
A sweet friend sent me these and it was such a fun thing to do at home (plus, once they bloom, it’ll be one less thing we need to buy from the dreaded grocery!). This is a great project for the kiddos too!
Arts & Crafts:
This is one of my favorite watercolor kits for all levels. Painting can be a great outlet to relieve stress & let creative juices flow — plus, you can create a fun wall of all of your family’s paintings throughout this time. I’ve created a robust watercolor supply guide here, if you’re wanting to know every product I love and use in my studio!
Color with CoCo:
Grab your free coloring book pages here! These are great for the kiddos and the adults - so make this a family affair! We’d love to see pictures of what you create, so please tag us on Instagram at @cocozentner_art, so we can share your creations with others.
Tour Famous Museums:
This may be one of my favorite activities during the quarantine - Travel & Leisure has put together a great list of famous museums that you can tour! The Louvre may be my favorite!
Styling this Spring
I’ve always loved this time of year - flowers are beginning to bloom, people are exchanging their neutral wardrobe for pops pinks and yellows, and the days become longer. If you’re wanting to add a little color to your home, here are some of my favorite things for Easter entertaining and springtime!
Regardless if you celebrate Easter or not, I hope that you can bring some of these springtime looks and activities into your home to add a little more color and excitement into your abode. I wish you and your loved ones a wonderful Easter celebration.
