Fall is quickly approaching, and so many of the interiors inspiring us lately are featuring autumnal tones and hues. For the month of September, we wanted to highlight interior designers that mix traditional with modern in an approachable, practical way.
Above is a guest bedroom designed by James Farmer, who I admire because of his confidence in mixing heirlooms with contemporary pieces.
I love how designer, Laura Lee Clark, blends various periods & styles into her spaces. She achieves a sophisticated look by incorporating antique elements with a modern flair in such a carefully curated way.
Melissa Morgan, founder of M Interiors, is a San Antonio–based firm that infuses classic American style with a cosmopolitan European aesthetic. I love how her spaces range from elegantly traditional to warmly contemporary.
Powder bath perfection! Clary Bosbyshell is an Atlanta-based interior designer who is known for creating timeless interiors that layer color and pattern while being both elegant and practical, mixing in fine antiques and one-of-a-kind pieces.

This interior design book just came out, & I can’t get enough! Each page is exquisite from start to finish.
What We Are Eating:
We recently made this delicious salad for dinner, & it has quickly become a weeknight go-to (psst: I’ve never seen my husband eat kale until this meal!).
What We Are Watching:
I loved the first season of this show, and now that the second season is out, I’m excited and curious to see where this storyline goes.
