My Top Business Podcasts

Ever since I pursued art full-time, I have become an avid podcast listener. These five podcasts are some of my absolute favorites when wanting to educate myself on becoming a better entrepreneur, learning the latest trends, and keeping a positive attitude when the times get tough. Aside from my daily cup of coffee, I typically start every. single. morning. diving into these masterminds.

There are a number of things I would have done differently with my time before I quit Corporate America, and listening to these podcasts definitely would be on the list. Whether you are a creative, or someone wanting to start that side-hustle you’ve always dreamt about doing, these experts will help you save time, money, and energy in whatever endeavor you’re seeking.

1.)   Goal Digger by Jenna Kutcher

Jenna is as real as you can get. Honestly, I feel like she is a best friend sitting in my studio talking my ears off while I paint. She’s honest, uplifting, and no BS. I honestly get excited to start working on Monday morning to listen to her latest release. She is a self-made millionaire and dives into everything from how she got to where she is today, to her very personal struggles that she has faced over the years.

2.)   Online Marketing Made Easy by Amy Porterfield

Amy has been involved with the podcast world for years and gives profound tactical and strategic advice through a number of interviews and mini-trainings each week. I’ve learned a number of amazing takeaways from navigating SEO to better email marketing approaches through her and wish I knew about her earlier on.

3.)   How I Built This by Guy Raz

Guy does an exceptionally great job interviewing well-known business owners and the brands that they have built. Each episode dives into the successes, failures, and advice that these innovators and world’s best companies have faced.

4.)   Do It For The Process by Emily Jeffords

Emily recently launched her podcast, but I can already tell it is going to be one of my all-time favorites. She is very vocal about pursuing a life that is beautiful & worthwhile, and that when creating, it should be a process that is for yourself. There are very few podcasts that explore the intersection between art and business, and this is one not to miss. She has such great words of wisdom and is a social media guru; and not to mention, her calm voice is so soothing, I almost feel like I am in a yoga class while listening to her.

5.)   Accidental Creative by Todd Henry

Todd shows his listeners how to live and work creatively, while balancing a worthwhile life. Each session he provides actionable steps to take in having a more sustainable business and life.
