Behind The Wedding Bouquet

I am from a small city in Louisiana; I was the third generation to get married at our church with a reception to follow in our family backyard – it was very traditional and super sentimental for me. My mom, wedding planner, and her best friends spent weeks ensuring our yard and flowers were pristine for our Big Day. Every little detail was absolutely perfect (and I know every bride feels this same way).

However, my bouquet (wrapped in a sliver of my grandmother’s lace from her own dress) was neglected. I had several photos taken of it, and many of me holding it; but I just don’t have the confidence to hang a solo picture of me and my bouquet on our wall. A few months ago, I woke up in the middle of the night with an idea that dawned on me & made me so excited. Why not paint my bouquet? Whether it is being held, or in an heirloom vase, or propped up against a velvet chair, this would be something I would always cherish.

I plan to open up 4 spots to create paintings throughout the remainder of the year of similar compositions like the above example - ranging in all sizes, colors, and compositions. If you are interested in reserving a spot to have a painting for you or someone else, please click the link to learn more! Also, if you have any questions, feel free to leave any questions in the comment section below.

I would love to bring something so special into homes - whether it is gift from a wedding party or family members of the bride and groom - this would make for a very special gift. Thank you so much for supporting me, it means more than you know!

Until next time,
