Round Up: Tabletop Trends Under $60
Hosting a Dinner Party Without Breaking the Bank
Table Top Trends All Under $60
For me, hosting a dinner party is always such a delight; however, it can also be a costly endeavor. Whether you are throwing a backyard barbecue or a sit-down soirée, keeping it within budget with these must-have items and tips will be a piece of cake (and make for a wonderful time!).
First and foremost, planning out your dinner well-in-advance will save you unnecessary stress and money in the long-run. Assuming you know the headcount, planning out your meal and price shopping ahead of time will be a game-changer. I like to buy beverages a week or two in advance from wherever is the most affordable, and typically I will buy the produce and food 2 to 3 days before the big day.
Secondly, planning out your tablescape in advance will alleviate any headache (also - doing so gives you time to borrow a vase from a neighbor or stemware from your sister-in-law). Using unique items in your home, like a teapot, can be great elements for building a fun table. Also, cutting flowers from your yard can be a great way to lower costs and makes for a fun conversation.
Lastly, if you are buying items for your table, like glassware or bar tools, buy things that you are absolutely in love with that you plan to recycle for years to come. Don't just purchase something to fit for that one specific color scheme and never intend on using it again.
Now for the fun! I've gathered all of my favorite tabletop finds that are all below $60 and will be lifetime purchases. I would love to know your thoughts on how you plan a dinner party and your must-have tabletop tokens in the comment section below!
