Nature Morte: Still Life Series Behind the Scenes

Inspiration Behind the Abstract Paintings

I’m ecstatic to finally reveal my latest collection, "Nature Morte,” a still-life series available now on my website.

Over the past few months, I’ve been knee-deep in researching artists such as Matisse, Picasso, & Cezanne. Their use of mark-marking and intuitive brushstrokes, along with painting still life pieces, has heavily influenced this body of work. I’ve tried to let go of my realistic interpretations and focus more on capturing light and movement. Layers of mixed media are built upon one another making these pieces captivating when viewed up close.

Collecting Original Artwork

You can collect these pieces of original artwork now on my website here.

There are 8 original abstract paintings that measure 12” x 9” and are $375 USD each.

Art for the Home

I envision these pieces being sold as a pair or in quadruples. In my opinion, I think they would look fabulous styled above a bar cart, sofa, or kitchen. See the images and the sources below for design inspiration and styling ideas.
