Helpful Tips for Framing:
When buying prints, try to select a standard size so that it’s easier to find a suitable and more affordable frame.
Matting paper pieces elevates the art & makes the artwork appear to be more elegant & aesthetically pleasing.
When paper pieces have a deckled edge (like the painting to the left), float mounting the art really elevates and enhances the work.
If you purchase a custom painting or commission, always ask the artist for advice!
Shop at local thrift stores, estate sales, or vintage stores - you can find some great deals and steals!
Always pick a frame that doesn’t take away from the artwork! It should enhance the work but never deter the eye.
