5 Interior Design Accounts To Follow

Interior Designers to Follow

I am by no means an interior designer. However, I absolutely love learning about the new trends, styling furniture properly, and envisioning my dream home. My mom has always had a keen eye for interiors. When not working or gardening, she is always flipping through a Veranda magazine or ordering fabric swatches for her latest reupholstering project.

With the social media craze these days, I feel like we are all inundated with thousands of different designers and interiors. The below décor blogs are ones I constantly turn to for a daily dose of inspiration, whether it is how to style my living room or entertaining tips for the next brunch I host.

My Go-to Blogs & Social Media Accounts:

1.) Coco Kelley:

Yes, Coco shares the same first name with me, but this isn’t the only reason why I love her style. She provides home decorating guidelines, travel itineraries, and entertainment tips that make design and entertaining appear effortless.

3.) Wit & Delight:

Kate Arends, founder of Wit & Delight, didn’t start out as an interior designer. She began her blog after vocalizing her struggle with mental illness and divorce, and she has grown a gigantic following because of her honest voice and outlook. Wit & Delight aims to be a different lifestyle brand and blog, that encapsulates everything from parenting content to beautiful interior design.

If you want to learn a little more about Kate and her amazing story, tune-in to Jenna Kutcher’s Goal Digger episode #248 and how she creates boundaries with her personal life and her online presence, but still remains so authentic and honest.

5.) Paloma Contreras:

Paloma, another fellow Texas resident, blends modern and traditional in such a timeless manner. Her use of color and design is both effortless and polished. Not only does she provide such an amazing aesthetic through her projects and blog, but she recently opened a storefront called Paloma & Co in Houston, TX, that showcases beautiful, curated finds for the home.

Not to mention, her striking book Dream Design Live makes for the perfect coffee table book depicting unique and creative ways to style your home. It is divided into three sections where she inspires her readers to seek what most inspires them. This book is definitely a must for anyone looking to create a space you love (and it’s on sale!).
